Etho Metho (pronounced ettoh mettoh) is the name given to the rhododendron
in Bhutan's national language, Dzongkha. We have many varieties of rhododendron
growing in the mountain forests of our beautiful country. If you are traveling
in the hinterland during spring, you will experience the magnificent sight
of towering tree species in their full glory, covered in a profusion of
intense red and dazzling white blooms, as your journey takes you ever
upwards towards the high passes. |
